Janathon Day 28 – swan-like

The end is definitely in sight on this Janathon malarky. Challenging could be one way to describe the weather, or just bloody awful. I can safely say that if it weren’t for Janathon I’m not sure I’d have run hardly at all this month. Janathon has been a pest at times but a huge motivator.

Today as I had the opportunity in the middle of the day I did another 4 miler on the [Aunty Joan’s] Run-Walk beginner’s programme that I have been following since the start of Janathon. (15min Run with 2.5min walk) x3reps did the same route as 2 day’s ago but this time minus the snow, but with flooded roads and in the driving rain.

I’m going to be cheeky (again) and add the walk that I did to Ipswich Rail Station after my morning meeting, because I could have got a taxi (normally) but walked instead. I’m glad I did as it gave me a chance to clear my head and I saw some lovely swans (serene, just so not like me!)
